<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://goodwinfamilyfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/145_115548.jpg" alt="Barbara Catheryn Caroll Baker  Frederick" />Barbara Catheryn Caroll Baker  Frederick, 79, formerly of Vincennes, passed away at 10:50 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012 in Muncie.
She was born May 6, 1932 in Vincennes, Indiana to  Robert &amp; Ruth (Sanders) Caroll and was raised by her adoptive parents, John and Margaret Baker.
Barbara was a faithful member of the United Pentecostal Tabernacle Church, she enjoyed crocheting and being with her family.
Survivors include her children, Robert C. Frederick of Vincennes, John M Frederick of St. Francisville, Deborah A. Pierson of Muncie, Thomas L. Frederick, and Cynthia D. Frederick, a sister, Rev. Mary Ellen Summitt of Princeton, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband, John Frederick,  parents, adoptive parents, and  a son, Marlin Frederick.
Funeral services for Barbara and a Memorial service for John will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feburary 20, 2012 ay Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Vickie Frederick officiating. <description><![CDATA[<img src="http://goodwinfamilyfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/145_115410.jpg" alt="Joseph L. Hatton" />     Joseph L. Hatton, 81, Vincennes, passed away Feb. 17, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
     Joe was a farmer and a cattleman, and always used Allis Chalmers equipment. A member of the Bruceville Christian Church, he had served as an elder, deacon, and board chairman. Other memberships included the American Legion and Bruceville VFW Post #7615, where he served as quartermaster for many years. From 1952 -1954 he served in the US Army, and was stationed in Germany. 
     Born Nov. 8, 1930 in East Chicago, IN, he was the son of Roy O. &amp; Bonnie Ruth (Bowers) Hatton. They preceded him.
     Survivors include his wife, Robertine (Goodwin) Hatton; daughters, Gayle (Royce) Huffer of Vincennes, Penny Hatton (fiance’ Gary Strader) of Bruceville, IN, Cindy (Rick) Compton of Bruceville, IN, and Kellie (Charles) Kaiser of Bruceville, IN; sisters, Gladys Lamb of Bicknell, IN and Mary Ruth Michaelis of Vincennes; a brother, John O. Hatton of Vincennes; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 1 soon to be great-grandchild. 
     Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 11:00 at Goodwin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 4:00-8:00. Interment will be in the Royal Oak Cemetery.

Karen was born on August 3, 1949 in French Lick, IN the daughter of Blanchard &amp; Ruth (Nicholson)Cope. 

Karen was a member of Cuzco Christian Church and a past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her companion of 21 years, Sam Porter of Vincennes; sister, Bonny Sue Lagenour, of French Lick, IN; and nephew, Gregory Guller of French Lick, IN.  Karen was preceded in by her parents and 1 niece.

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://goodwinfamilyfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/145_115238.jpg" alt="Paul R. Ice" />     Paul R. Ice, 92, of Oaktown, IN passed away at Oak Village on Feb. 14, 2012 at 10:50 PM.
     He had worked at Hoover Universal, which later became Johnson Controls. Paul also farmed. A member of the Emison United Methodist Church, he enjoyed playing euchre at the Blue Jean Center in Monroe City. 
     Born Feb. 2, 1920 in Knox County, IN, he was the son of Edward &amp; Anna (Reel) Ice. They precede him, along with his brothers, Clarence, Roy, &amp; Robert Ice; his sisters, Ethel Nelson, Helen Dellinger, &amp; twin sister, Pauline Thompson; and his wife, Kathleen (McGiffen) Ice. 
     Survivors include his daughters, Sandra (Frank) Beaman of Oaktown, Linda (Billy Joe) Miller of Huntingburg, IN; a son, Ron (Ginny) Ice of Vincennes; grandchildren, Micki Spears, Scott Beaman, Andy Ice, Amy Webster, Jayne Ann Beeman, Joe King, Jr., &amp; Eddie King; 16 Great-Grandchildren; and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. 
     Funeral services will be held at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN, on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Cheryl Cash &amp; Rev. Faye Bilskie officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 4:00-8:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://goodwinfamilyfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/145_115079.jpg" alt="Jordan Snider" />Jordan Matthew Snider, 20,  of 7910 South Old Decker Road, Vincennes, passed away at 9:48 a.m. Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born December 16, 1991 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Donnie Snider &amp; Cindy (Oexmann)  Daniels.
Jordan worked for Crop Tech and was currently serving in the 151st Division of the National Guard and was being deployed to Afghanistan this summer. He was a 2010 graduate of South Knox High School and was currently attending Vincennes University.  Jordan enjoyed collecting weapons, listening to music, playing guitar, and hanging out with the IX.
Surviving is his father, Donnie Snider and his wife, Elizabeth; his mother Cindy (Oexmann) Daniels and her husband, Jeff; a brother, Andy Snider and his wife, Marisa; two sisters, Leah DeLisle and her husband, Adam; and Phoebe Snider, two step brothers, Derek Daniels and Jordan Daniels, all of Vincennes.
Also surviving are his grandparents, Don and Margie Snider of Vincennes, and Gerald and Sue Oexmann of Decker; a nephew, Max DeLisle, a special friend, Kelsey Held, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Jordan’s life will be 10:30 Thursday, February 16, 2012 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Nathan Rastl and Rev. Ron Maxwell officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family from 2-8 Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the South Knox Baseball team or the South Knox Choir.      Born Feb. 22, 1952, in Tombstone, AZ, she was the daughter of James R. and Betty (Bohlander) Thalls. She was preceded by her father. 
     Surviving is her mother, Betty Dance of Riverview, FL; husband, Bill R. Moore; daughter, Neysa L. (Allen) Clark of Vincennes; son, Tony G. (Tina) Homer of Piqua, OH; sister, Jody King of Deland, FL; brothers, Donald Dance of Hagerstown, IN, Dennis Dance of Louisiana, and Doug Dance of Hagerstown, IN; grandchildren Tabitha L. Clark, Justin D. Clark, Tyler A. Clark, Brandon Homer, Chris Homer, Matt Kuykendall, Levi Homer, and Joshua Homer; great-grandchild, Cali Skye Homer; step-father, Raymond Dance of Hagerstown, IN; and ex-husband, Logan Homer of Vincennes. 
     Jeanne was a homemaker. Her memberships included the First Baptist Church and the International Independent Showman’s Association.
     The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 EDT on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes. A graveside service will follow at 2:15 at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Dan Clemens officiating.

Born October 17, 1946, in Vincennes, he was the son of William and Mary Frances (Frederick) Greentree.

Charles had worked at various lumber yards and sawmills in the area and had also worked for Perdue Processing in Washington.

Survivors include his wife, Anna (Wagler) Greentree of Washington; son Jason Greentree of Noble, IL and daughter Jennifer Brown and her husband, David, of Monroe City; brother, Denny Greentree of Vincennes and sisters, Linda Smith, Rosalie Baker and Sylvia Andis all of Vincennes; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 12 at 3:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. with Pastor Bill Burkett officiating.  Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  A family committal service will be held Monday.

Rosalie P. Like, 79, 1222 McKinley Avenue, Vincennes, passed away at 5:08 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2012.  Born November 9, 1932, in Parke County, IN, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Maude (Shultz) Clinard.
 
Roslie had worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart.  

Survivors include her husband, Clark J. Like of Vincennes; children, Robert Like and his wife, Patty, of Vincennes, Donald Ray Like and his companion, Elizabeth Noonan, of Bicknell, Ronald Like and his wife, Julia, of Vincennes and Judy Pippin and her husband, Ben, of Vincennes; brother, Joe Clinard and his wife, Anna Mae, of Petersburg; nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
 
Preceding Rosalie in death were son, Terry Ray Like; brother, Eugene Clinard and sister, Mary Louise Stafford.
 
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., with Pastor John Moreland officiating.  Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://goodwinfamilyfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/145_114590.jpg" alt="Steve Wright" />Steve “Hangum” Wright, 64, of 150 Fox Ridge Drive, Vincennes, passed away  on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at 6:39 a.m.  at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.
He was born February 26, 1947 in Vincennes to James and Ardella (Eisenhut) Wright.
He worked as a Plant Operator at the Gibson County Generating Station and was a member of the Patoka United Methodist Church.  Steve belonged to the Harmony and the Road Earls Car club and enjoyed going to car shows and restoring cars. Spending time with his family and grandchildren was enjoyment for Steve as well as dancing and singing. Steve served his country in the Air Force.
Surviving are his daughters, Stephanie (Scott) Conway and Shelby (Douglas) Anderson, both of Princeton, his grandchildren; Kayley Conway and Addison Anderson, four sisters, Delores (Jim) Burke, Linda Hendrixson, both of Vincennes; Patty (Alvin) Tracy of Seymour, and Debbie (Larry) Goldman of Deltona, Fl; two brothers, Fred Wright of Vincennes, and Bob (Esther) Wright of Hazelton.
Also surviving is his mother in– law, Lois Krackenberger and brother in- law  , Gary (Grace) Krackenberger, both of Terre Haute; and two close friends, Mike and Brownie.
Preceding Steve in death was his wife, Melinda “Penny” (Krackenberger) Wright who passed away in 2005 and whom he married in 1971; two sisters, Ruby Wright and Beulah Powell; a brother in-law, Tom Hendrixson, and a great niece, Ivy Roberts.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at 1:30 EDT at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN, with Pastor Gary Arnold officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 10:00 – 1:30 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://goodwinfamilyfh.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/145_114591.jpg" alt="Larry Stearns" />Larry Wayne Stearns, 56, passed away at 12:23 p.m. on Saturday, February, 4, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Larry was born in Vincennes, on January 17, 1956 the son of George Harold and Mildred Irene (Lazarus) Stearns. 
 
Larry was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints where he served as a ward clerk for 4 years and as stake auditor and priesthood holder. Since 1982, he served as program chair and professor of the paralegal department at Vincennes University.  He loved doing genealogy research at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  He received his A.A. Degree from Vincennes University in 1976 and a B.S. Degree from Indiana State University in 1976. In 1981, he received his J.D. Degree from Indiana University.
 
Survivors include his sister, Laura Stearns of West Jordan, Utah; sister, Linda Stearns, of Vincennes; brother, Kevin Stearns and his wife Nancy of Vincennes; brother, Ron Stearns of Vincennes; brother, Jon Stearns and his wife, Linda of West Jordan, Utah and sister, Mary Jayne Bolling and her husband, Roy of Carlisle, IN.
 
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February, 10, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Ryan Lough officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway.
